Ancient Cities

In this category of “Ancient Cites” we discover old and usually forgotten cites and villages scattered around the globe.   The city of Troy was considered a myth until a German American man named Heinrich Schliemann in 1868 discovered its location by following the book “The Iliad” .   Troy was first occupied in 2920 BCE and abandoned about 1500 AD.  This of course represents only one small story among thousands.  Troy is new by comparison to cities that were lost, buried or just forgotten in the ancient past, usually prior to the great flood but including that event.  Our modern technology and satellites that can now search under the Earth and under the water of this planet is beginning to reveal another world, an older world for which modern science has no explanation or history… yet here it is and its existence can no longer be denied.
